And, if one talks about cycling through the magical land of Ladakh none can keep calm. The land of high passes situated at an average altitude of over 11,000 feet, nestling in between the Himalayas and the Karakoram mountain ranges, is a place like no other. Ladakh is a high altitude cold desert, its dramatic landscape makes it stand out amongst any other place on the earth.
The enigmatic valley with crystal clear skies & a splash of vivid green lined by highest mountain passes of the world gives it a breath-taking view to the eyes. Mountain biking offers one with an exquisite drive – conquering the mighty Himalayas with the perfect combination of a pure aptitude, vigour and energy.
All said Steadfast brings to you a journey full of excitement and fun like never before. HHMR was an initiative to channelize the energy of a rider towards something unusual yet one that all wished to be a part of. It is a week-long tour that takes your through the spectacular string of events where you meet some of the well-known athletes who share their years of accumulated knowledge with one another helping the tribe grow stronger. The event is divided into six different stages with an increase in elevation at each stage.
